In reference to your Tablet article here is another perspective from Time magazine and a quote from Vice News. Even if you assume the numbers are inflated, thousands are still buried under the rubble. My friend lost 80 relatives ( Gaza families are very big ). Two relatives of another had Caesarean sections performed on them without anesthesia.
Vice News ( 1/25/24 ): "Israeli intelligence services have studied civilian casualty figures released by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza and concluded the figures were generally accurate, despite earlier public claims by U.S. and Israeli officials that the ministry’s statistics are manipulated."
